EACH OTHER’S GOD
God did not create man in isolation. Infact, what God saw unpleasant was for man to be alone, it was not good hence men were created for one another, “I will make a help mate suitable for her”, says the Lord Almighty. The earlier you know you are not just created for your own good the better, we are all created for one another, ugly or beautify, tall or short, black or colourless. No matter your condition and wherever you are, you are created for somebody.
The early believers were of one heart and one soul, though they were many, numberless, of different ages, tempers, and conditions, in the world, who perhaps, before they believed, were perfect strangers to one another, yet, when they met in Christ, they were as intimately acquainted as if they had known one another many years. Perhaps they had been of different sects among the Jews, before their conversion, or had had discords upon civil accounts; but now these were all forgotten and laid aside, and they were unanimous in the faith of Christ, and, being all joined to the Lord, they were joined to one another in holy love. This was the blessed fruit of Christ's dying precept to his disciples, to love one another, and his dying prayer for them, that they all might be one.
Though these ones prayed regularly to the Lord to supply their needs, they lacked nothing because they made themselves each other’s gods. They received quick responses to their prayers because all of them shared things in common, none of them thought of things he possessed was his own. There are things we do not need to pray for; the early believers did not pray for great grace, their actions and behaviours provoked great grace upon them. Do you desire great grace, don’t just pray for it, do what the early believers did and gracefully you will receive. You cannot be looking at your neighbor suffering and expect God to bless you, do something to the little gods (Psalm 82:6) you see and the invisible God will supply all your needs. Jesus said, in as much as you did it for these little ones, you did it for me. You are fearfully and wonderfully made; therefore show forth the glory of God. Remember, you are made for each other, find your partners in God. If you show love to others you show God in reality, for God is love (1 John 4:8).
Word Affirmation: “And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name." - Isaiah 62:2 (Don't just say it, mean it!)
“ No matter your condition and wherever you are, you are created for somebody. "
